The Boy Said She Was Lying… and Everything Broke
Chapter 3: The Hidden Arrangement
That night, the father followed the boy.
He didn't know why.
He just did.
The boy led him to a small public library near the edge of town.
Inside, the boy pulled out a folder.
He placed it on the table.
No drama.
No hesitation.
Just facts.
Medical notes.
Prescription records.
Eye specialist reports.
All contradictory.
The father flipped through them faster and faster.
"This is forged," he whispered.
The boy shook his head.
"No. It's edited."
The father looked up.
"What does that mean?"
The boy leaned forward slightly.
"It means she was never fully blind."
A pause.
"She was trained."
The father's grip tightened.
"By who?"
The boy didn't answer immediately.
Instead, he said something else.
"Your wife didn't marry you by accident."
The father froze.
The boy continued:
"She needed access to your medical network."
A beat.
"And your daughter was part of the plan from the beginning."
The father's voice broke slightly.
"That's insane."
The boy looked at him.
"Then why does she only act blind when you're watching?"
Silence again.
This time, heavier.
